Services currently include a Telephone Befriending Service and will in 2021 also include a Well-Being Café and Community Hub. Volunteers and staff are (where appropriate) background or DBS checked.

The types of information we collect

We do collect opt-in data at our drop-in sessions and groups. You are under no obligation to fill out any forms and you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing to our emails.

Most of our services and events are aimed at people over the age of 18. However, at events involving children up to the age of 13 years old, we will ask you to complete a parental consent form to enable us to publish their work.

Under legislation being introduced in May 2018, children over the age of 13 are required to give their own consent. The parental consent form also contains a range of marketing options (which you are under no obligation to select).

After opting in, you/or your child, if aged over 13, can also unsubscribe from any of our communications at any time either by clicking on the link in the email or by emailing ingrid1dreamshine@gmail.com with the subject header “Unsubscribe.”

If you apply to join our team as a volunteer or member of staff, we may also hold personal data about you in accordance with the law and GDPR.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may ask you to complete surveys, although you do not have to respond to them.
